Happy Holidays to all of my dear readers! ...Well to all of them who are not back at work/school yet, my turn is on Monday (oh, so soon!) and I only took one week off to really relax/sleep in Luxembourg and to catch up with some old friends (totally worth it!)
Just before leaving Paris I was thinking about simple outfits for summer if you're a case like me: I don't like wearing shorts, especially not for work. I'm a perfectionist and I like to think that my legs are not perfect enough for shorts, lately the mosquitos from the south of france left some traces!
So whats the alternative if you don't want to run around in a white T-Shirt and grey/black jeans or shorts all the time? (No but seriously, for work: all the time. Best office outfit ever. Colored Tee is also allowed. All kinds of Tshirts actually.) I digged a bit through my wayyy to small closet and found these lovely pieces, and hey: it's a white t-shirt and grey denim but yet it looks so much more refreshing and less "I'm at work but actually I'm already on the beach in my mind". Tried it out and got it confirmed, I love the simplicity of the outfit and the play with textures and prints, I honestly never thought I'd wear jeans with printed stars on them ever again. That was probably before Sandro made them look ridiculously good! Also, is it just me or don't we all get tired of the super oversized Tshirts with deep VNecks from time to time? This super adjusted one was a welcome change to my usual way more casual silhouette, and combined with some (strange, I have to admit) heels this outfit almost looks chic. Perfect to wear all day long!
By the way: if you look at the pictures closely, you might find a detail about me that you did not notice yet! ;)

And a second "by the way": In case you did not see it on my Instagram yet (@annecatherinefrey), I traded my brown against some black and grey! Speaking about the hair and eyebrows of course, and what a change! I never was into trying out other hair colors but I've been thinking about grey forever - and finally dared to do it. And I do not regret it, it's the first time that I really love a different hair color on me. Don't worry though, chances are not big at all that I'm going to try everything from blonde to green now - I was always only a brown/black/grey girl.
I guess I just love wearing my favorite colors not just as clothes but also on my head. :)
